Flashforward

Watched the first episode, season 1 this morning. One word 'Awesome'. really liked the premise for the story. I had deliberately not read any magazine or website articles - didn't want any spoilers (although the name does give a fairly good idea of what happens). Anyway, looking forward to getting properly into it.

Avengers - The end?

Marvels' solicitations preview lists the series finales of The New Avengers, Dark Avengers, The Mighty Avengers and Avengers: The Initiative. It also solves the mystery of what Brian Michael Bendis and artist Bryan Hitch have been collaborating on: It's a 64-page one-shot called New Avengers: Finale.

Oh well!

Ultimate X

I recently read Ultimatum and thought it was pretty awesome. It restored my faith in the Ultimate universe. So, I am somewhat excited about the prospect of another Ultimate single issue comic run (I am enjoying Millars' current Marvel Ultimate Comic). Ultimate X (due out next month) looks pretty cool and now we have a full list of key characters I think. I want to be careful not to read too many spoilers before I get my hands on this. I hope it is good.
