Due 1 June 2011

Fear Itself #3 (Of 7)
Fear Itself Deep #1 (Of 4)
Flashpoint #2
Flashpoint Abin Sur The Green Lantern #1
 (Of 3)
Flashpoint Batman Knight Of Vengeance #1
 (Of 3)
Flashpoint Secret Seven #1 (Of 3)
Flashpoint The World Of Flashpoint #1 (Of 3)
Moon Knight #2
X-Men #12

It is looking a very good week. Obviously Fear Itself and Flashpoint are battling for supremacy. So far, I have to say that I've been a little disappointed with Fear Itself. Part 2 was better than 1, but I am expecting some great things from this comic. Flashpoint so far has been very cool and I will definitely be picking up some of the tie-ins if I can get my hands on them - I missed the Booster Gold one last week.

Managed to see Thor (I will write a separate post on it) but I thought it was pretty good. News on The Avengers is coming in thick and fast - I really hope they do the whole Secret Invasion storyline - that would be cool - the thought of it makes me want to read it all again.

Due 25th May 2011

Detective Comics #877
Gotham City Sirens #23
Green Arrow #12
Green Lantern #66
Green Lantern Corps #60
Green Lantern Emerald Warriors #10
Secret Avengers #13 Fear Itself
Turf #5

So, a new trailer for Green Lantern focusing on the Corps. I think it is looking better and better each time material is being released, which is great. Still not sure if RR is the man to play Hal, but I'll give him a chance.

Picture of Hardy as Bane has been released - well a picture of his back and him wearing a dodgy mask. Certainly sticks with the dark and mysterious theme. Oh and filming has begun.

Tintin is looking pretty cool. Will definitely be keen to see this.

Jason Todd is back. Again. A very cool DC character that needs more of a spotlight. His appearances in Batman & Robin and Red Hood: The Lost Days recently have been well handled, but there is much to explore and hopefully his new Batman & Robin appearance will turn into a cracking run.

I gotta say, with all the Batman comics currently being released, it does get a little confusing, especially if it's been a while since reading the last issue - Batman, Detective Comics, Batman & Robin, Batman Incorporated, Batman: The Return, Red Robin, Batgirl, Gotham City Sirens, Batman: The Dark Knight, Batwoman, Streets of Gotham and Birds of Prey. And those are just the ones I read. Maybe time to review the pull list again.

Saturday 14 May 2011

Batman #710
Batman And Robin #23
Batman Gates Of Gotham #1 (Of 5)(maybe)
Booster Gold #44 Flashpoint
Turf #5
Ultimate Avengers Vs New Ultimates #4 (Of 6)
X-Men Prelude To Schism #2 (Of 4)
Zatanna #13

Well, we have now had the first issue of Flashpoint and I have to say it did not disappoint. Very cool concept, great art, fast pacy script and the potential that anything could happen - I dare you to read that last page and not smile! Anyone who likes Elseworld comics or multiverse style storytelling is going to love this. There are a lot of tie-ins but thankfully you can just stick to the main comic and still get the story. Nice!

Due 4 May 2011

Wow, a very small week. Only 2 titles. Unusual. To be fair though, last week was a big one. The end of Brightest Day and the end of JL Generation Lost came and went - I haven't read them yet so am deliberately avoiding reading about them if I can.

Fear Itself #2 (Of 7)
Turf #5
